We also have full size display shades in most styles including motorized shades, skylight shades, plantation shutters and custom drapery treatments. We feature the complete Hunter Douglas product line including the new exclusive Alustra Showcase. We have worked hard to assemble the finest resources and selection for all of the products we sell.

With over 100 years of combined experience, our staff has a lot to offer our customers. Owner Steve Boeh has been in the window covering business for over 35 years, Wendy Vaughn an Interior Designer, Associate Member and past president of Northwest Society of Interior Design, with 23 years. Donna Fazio our shade maker has been with Bolligers since 1970. Our staff is ready to assist you with selection of your custom window treatments by helping you identify your functional needs and the design possibilities in fabric, texture, color and style. Huggy Bear’s Cupboards has been building kitchen cabinets for 33 years right here in Portland. Whether you are going for a traditional or contemporary look, Huggy Bear’s can custom build cabinets to your specifications with a wide variety of wood species and finishes. Our 
Europa Collection features 10 beautiful exotic wood veneers for contemporary projects. We have several glaze colors, levels of distressing and knotty woods for a rustic or “old world” look.

Huggy Bear’s is committed to providing natural products and processes that are earth friendly and environmentally responsible. We have made many changes in our products and processes to achieve this goal. In 2007, we cut our volatile waste 43% by distilling and recycling the dregs from our paint room. We reformulated our finish which reduced HAPS and VOC’s. We have met all of the requirements for CARB (California Air Resources Board) Airborn Toxic Control Measure.

We have added Lyptus to our wood selection. Lyptus is a hybrid of Eucalyptus which is sustainable grown in plantations and can be harvested in 15 years. Bamboo, which is considered a renewable resource, is available in our 
Europa collection. FSC certified wood from a multi-site chain of custody distributor is available at an upcharge.
