At the Buildesign studio, owner and artist, Greg Simons, builds & designs thoughtful & unique original artisanal furnishings for the home, garden, and beyond.  Eclectic in style, Greg’s designs are a refined hybrid of  clean modern lines and forms with the richness of rustic and ancient surfaces, objects and accents.

In wood, metal, and more, he loves working with homeowners as well as designers and architects to realize their vision.

Buildesign is committed to environmentally-sound practices including the use of sustainable and reclaimed materials and non-toxic and low VOC finishes when possible.  With a broad knowledge of materials including, but not limited to, wood & metal, Buildesign offers a full range of metalworking and woodworking ability including custom wood turning, furniture, railings, lighting, displays and cabinets.  Anything – custom, functional, sculptural – is possible here.
